Directed Studies at UGA (Reli 4800 Reading and Research in Religion)
Three students from Reli 4082/6082 Paul: Life and Letters whom I taught Fall 2002 chose to pursue a project in Reli 4800 that allowed them to concentrate on Paul's thought in one or more of his letters in greater depth. One discussed pursuing graduate study in religion.
One student from Reli 4081/6081 Jesus whom I taught Spring 2002 worked on his assignments for Reli 4800 over the summer, completed the work Fall 2002, and discussed pursuing graduate study in religion.
One student from Reli 4106/6106 Women in Early Christian Literature whom I taught Spring 2002 learned Koine Greek Fall 2002.
One student Reli 4082/6082 Paul: Life and Letters whom I taught Fall 2001 completed a research paper Spring 2002 for Reli 4800 and applied for graduate study in our department.
